Litra LLC ("Litra," "we," "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit litra.pet (the "Site") or buy from us, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

  • Information you give us: your name, email address, shipping and billing address, phone number and order details when you place an order, create an account, sign up for our emails or contact us.
  • Payment information: payments are processed by Shopify Payments and other payment providers. We do not store your full card number.
  • Information collected automatically: your IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed, links clicked, and approximate location, collected through cookies and similar technologies.
  • Location you choose to share: if you use "Use my location" on our Where to Buy page, your browser asks for permission and we use your coordinates only to show nearby stores. We do not store them. If you type a city or ZIP code, that text is sent to a mapping and geocoding service (Google Maps, and a fallback service such as OpenStreetMap) to find its location.

How we use your information

  • To process and ship your orders, and send order and shipping updates.
  • To provide customer support and respond to your messages.
  • To send news, updates and offers if you sign up (you can unsubscribe at any time).
  • To improve the Site, measure advertising performance and show relevant ads.
  • To prevent fraud, enforce our terms and comply with the law.

Cookies, analytics and advertising

We use cookies and similar tools. These include Shopify's, which keep your cart and checkout working, and the Meta (Facebook) Pixel, which helps us measure ads and show them to people who may be interested in Litra. You can control cookies in your browser settings and opt out of interest-based ads through aboutads.info/choices or your Facebook ad settings. Blocking some cookies may affect how the Site works.

Who we share information with

We do not sell your personal information for money. We share information with service providers who help us run our business, including Shopify (store, checkout and payments), shipping carriers, email and marketing providers, analytics and advertising partners (such as Meta) and mapping services (such as Google). They may use your information only to provide services to us, except that advertising partners may use it as described in their own policies. We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights and safety, or in connection with a sale or transfer of our business.

Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live (including California under the CCPA/CPRA), you may have the right to know what personal information we collect, request a copy, request correction or deletion, and opt out of "sales" or "sharing" of personal information for targeted advertising. Using advertising pixels may count as "sharing" under some laws. To opt out, email us or use your browser's Global Privacy Control setting, which we honor. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights. To make a request, email contact@litra.pet. We may need to verify your identity before responding.

Email marketing

You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link at the bottom of any email. We will still send order-related messages.

Data retention and security

We keep your information as long as needed to provide our services, meet legal and tax obligations and resolve disputes. We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Children

The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above shows the latest version. Continued use of the Site means you accept the updated policy.
